Gavin Bignell
Managing Director
Gavin is a performance-driven leader with extensive experience at executive and board level across rail, ports and agricultural industries. He has a proven track record for performance and leadership in a wide variety of roles across operations, trading, transformation, external relations and customer service.
Nicole Bradshaw
Vice President – Operations
Nikki has extensive experience in the Australian rail industry. Nikki’s career in rail began in 2009. Over her journey she has acquired skills in customer service, leadership development, scheduling, accounts, network operations, rail infrastructure, rollingstock, and risk management. Nikki is a strong advocate for customers, ensuring that Watco provides efficient and safe service for customers.
Paul Hamersley
Vice President – Customer Service, Marketing & Development
Paul has over 25 years experience in the freight logistics and supply chain industry with strong professional skills in customer service, business development, contract management, marketing, corporate affairs and infrastructure planning. Paul is a strong advocate for customers, ensuring Watco’s Foundation Principles are recognised and delivered throughout the business.
Ken Hammat
Vice President – Finance & Commercial
Ken is a certified practicing accountant with over 30 years experience in accounting, corporate finance, operations, HR, ICT and project management across rail, mining, oil and gas, and numerous other industry sectors. Ken holds a master’s degree in business administration, graduating with distinction, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business law.
Adam Lebihan
Vice President – Intermodal
Adam has played a vital role in the success of the Intermodal Group after he joined the company in 2015 as Operations Manager. Adam’s career in container freight management began in 2000. Over his journey he has acquired skills in rail operations, operations management, freight, procurement and empty shipping container depots.
Leonie Nankiville
Vice President – Corporate Services
Leonie has over 18 years’ experience in human resources, IT and payroll across manufacturing, agriculture and rail industries. Leonie holds a degree in finance and human resources and is enjoying strengthening Watco’s culture, engaging with the team and building upon our systems and processes.
Cameron Swaine
Vice President – Rollingstock and Maintenance
Cameron has over 30 years experience in rollingstock maintenance of diesel electric locomotives and wagons while working for companies such as V/Line, Freight Australia, Pacific National, Downer EDI Rail and now Watco Australia. Cameron has a unique skill in sourcing locomotives that meet Watco’s and the customer’s needs. To colleagues he’s referred to as the “Loco Whisperer”.
